Binna Burra Timbers & Cabinets

Boat builders and woodworkers travelling through Port Macquarie feature in accounts of this timber and cabinet business, with several describing the range of seasoned timber and slabs available for projects of all kinds. Reviewers repeatedly mention Wayne by name, describing him as helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, and as someone who takes time to talk through what a job requires.

His trade background comes through in the feedback, with one customer calling him a great tradesman to deal with. The quality of the stock and the service around it is a recurring theme, with buyers noting the selection of timber slabs and describing the pricing as fair for what is supplied. Being looked after well and receiving attentive service during a visit comes up in more than one account.

The atmosphere of the yard is described as welcoming, with staff taking an interest in the work customers are doing rather than simply completing a sale. For those building boats, furniture or other timber pieces, the advice and material available are presented as the main reasons people return, and the friendliness of the people behind the counter is mentioned as often as the timber itself, with the slabs singled out as a highlight by more than one buyer.
