Concept Carpentry

Concept Carpentry Pty Ltd is a registered building and carpentry company. It was set up in Brisbane in 2000. Harvey Lee is the director. Lee's experience in carpentry began when he left school to start an apprenticeship, following his father and grandfather. He owned his own carpentry company for over 35 years.

During 9 years of his career, he set up and managed 'Atlantic Builders' in Belgium, Europe, specialising in renovation and restoration works. Concept Carpentry serves The Gap, Ashgrove, Bardon, Keperra, Mitchelton, Paddington, and surrounding suburbs. The company focuses on smaller carpentry jobs.

Carpentry work for homes around The Gap forms the core of what clients describe about Concept Carpentry, with Harvey named as the tradesperson responsible. Well-executed results are the theme running through the feedback, spanning renovations to a family house and structural framing built to support a double garage door fitted over a carport on a steeply sloping block where little was true. Several buyers describe how swiftly the project came together despite those complications, and the pricing quoted is repeatedly called fair for the scope involved.

Punctuality appears often, together with reliability and a professional approach, and one account notes that costs were explained and progress updates supplied as the work advanced. Honest guidance is another recurring point, especially when decisions about older buildings arose, and the way the carpenter dealt with people is described as warm and uncomplicated. An observation shared by more than one reviewer is the standard of finish and the readiness to accept a difficult job that others had turned down, while communication across the whole engagement is praised in multiple accounts. Work on a century-old Queenslander and on garage door framing recurs as evidence of the practical problem-solving applied.
