Contact Carpentry

Contact Carpentry is a carpentry and building business with over 30 years of experience. It operates in Hervey Bay and Maryborough. The business offers building services including extensions and renovations. Its building and carpentry projects are customised to suit clients' needs while maintaining the character of each home. Contact Carpentry offers flexibility throughout the entire building process.

Hervey Bay residents who have hired Contact Carpentry describe the finished work as beautifully executed and top quality, with craftsmanship that holds up over time. Steve and his crew are named in multiple accounts, and their courteous manner and professionalism on site come through again and again. Decking and privacy walls appear as the most common projects, alongside broader home building work, and the results draw consistent praise. Customers note that the team turns up when promised and keeps to agreed timeframes, with punctuality treated as standard rather than a bonus.

Quotes are described as competitive, and the final cost is said to align with what was initially agreed. Tidiness is another recurring theme, with sites left clean and orderly at the end of each day. Flexibility and the ease of having tradespeople working around the home are mentioned favourably. Several clients indicate they would engage the company again for future projects, and the standard of craftsmanship is repeatedly described as high. The relationship between the tradespeople and the homeowners is handled particularly well, and the consistency of the work across decking, privacy walls and broader building projects is a point that comes up often.
