Custom Carpentry & Design

Axel, was brilliant. Working with us to accomodate our budget. He also consulted with us on options available to us. He paid attention to the small details and ensured quality in build. We are very happy with the outcome, and would highly recommend Axel for anyone looking for these services.

Axel and his son are very professional and polite. They assisted us with our renovation project and delivered high-quality work, including bathroom reframing, replacing the old flooring with durable cement sheets and wall straightening. They completed what was expected to be a two-day job in just one day through their hard work and efficiency. Axel is fair, knowledgeable, and offered great ideas and practical solutions throughout the process. The pricing was also very reasonable. Highly recommended.

I had an amazing experience with Axel Carpentry! From start to finish, their professionalism, attention to detail, and craftsmanship were truly outstanding. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations — everything was done with precision and care, and you can clearly see the passion they have for what they do. They were also very reliable, easy to communicate with, and delivered everything on time without any hassle. If you’re looking for a trustworthy and highly skilled carpentry team, I can’t recommend Axel enough. Absolutely top-notch service! 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

We had Custom Carpentry & Design do extensive custom cabinetry and carpentry work in our home in Carlton, including the kitchen, bathroom, and living areas, as well as installing new hardwood flooring. The quality of the workmanship really stands out—the cabinetry in particular has been done beautifully and ties each space together seamlessly. Axel was a pleasure to work with—easy to communicate with, reliable, and incredibly thorough. He takes the time to get every detail right and doesn’t cut corners, which really shows in the finished result. We’re extremely happy with how everything turned out and would highly recommend Custom Carpentry & Design if you’re looking for high-quality custom cabinetry and someone who genuinely cares about doing the job properly.

Axel just completed new gates for us which had to be inline with an architecturally designed modernist house on a Vic Heritage estate. He respected the original design, and made them to match with the same materials. He also made them to last. Axel is a great communicator and completer and he also did work on our neighbours house and the lads did a great job there too. We'll be having him back again in the near future to do a repair on a pergola and a facia. Would not hesitate to use him, just be clear in what you want, stick to the brief (don't wander off) and he will do it on time on budget. Axel communicates well. Thanks again Axel.

We were researching carpenters across Melbourne who could take on the specialised job of transforming our front entrance double doors into a stunning copper finish. Since copper is a tricky material to work with, we really appreciated Axel’s care, craftsmanship, and patience, from sourcing the copper sheets to the meticulous installation. The result is absolutely beautiful and has completely elevated our home’s entrance. Thank you, Axel, for your outstanding work! My husband and I highly recommend Custom Carpentry & Design to anyone looking for quality.

Axel is absolutely fantastic. He is reliable and trustworthy, and his communication throughout the entire project has been amazing. Axel kept us updated every step of the way, which gave us complete peace of mind. We could not be happier with the quality of his work and the overall experience. We’ll definitely be reaching out to him for any future projects. Highly recommend.
