Envisage Furniture

Envisage Furniture is a cabinet maker based in Shepparton, Victoria. Established in June 2001, it was founded by timber craftsmen Matthew Irwin and Chris Willis. The company specialises in crafting custom furniture using locally and internationally-sourced timber. It also offers soft furniture from brands IMG and Molmic, and supplies timber to builders and hobbyists. Envisage Furniture can personally deliver to most Victorian and southern New South Wales customers. Its products have reached across Australia and abroad.

Custom furniture projects around Shepparton are described by customers as combining careful craftsmanship with attentive service across both new commissions and restoration work. A coffee table in red gum was made to order, finished within the promised timeframe and judged to look fantastic by its owner. A jeweller commissioned display pieces for a showroom, where the design suggestions about using the space drew as much praise as the completed fitout. A bedroom suite roughly half a century old was picked up, restored and returned, with the owner reporting that it now appears better than new and that the charge represented excellent value for the standard achieved.

A recurring theme in accounts is the readiness of staff to talk through options and impart knowledge about timber and its care, including a short lesson on maintaining chairs after delivery, with no sales pressure applied. Buyers frequently note being kept updated from order through to delivery and assembly, and a pair of broken dining chairs was mended swiftly and brought back once finished. Matt, Chris and Jaye are named as friendly and accommodating, while the distinct character of each finished item is mentioned repeatedly.
