We couldn’t be happier with the work Jye from JK Custom Carpentry completed in our home. Out of several companies we contacted for quotes, Jye was the quickest to arrange an onsite visit. Soon after coming out, he sent through drawings so we could clearly visualise how everything would look. He listened carefully to what we wanted and used his experience and knowledge to offer practical advice that worked perfectly with our ideas and our home. Jye is friendly, patient and easy to communicate with, and it’s clear that he takes great pride in his work. From the initial quote through to completion, he never let us down. Choosing him for our project was definitely the right decision. We’re extremely happy with the custom library, additional overhead laundry cabinets, kids’ desks and mudroom cabinetry he created for us. Everyone who visits our home compliments his work! Jye did an incredible job designing and installing a beautiful new custom cupboard and open shelving to replace a very old, crappy linen cupboard. He had to deal with lots of challenging aspects like walls that aren’t straight and old materials that were falling apart, and the end result is even better than I imagined.
