Mid Coast Pergolas and Decks

Mid Coast Pergolas and decks extended our outdoor entertainment area, including an electric fireplace build with mantel and tiling, decking, lights, and blinds. We also had a decking walkway built along the side of our house. We are more than impressed with the work that has been provided and can't thank Dan and his team of workers enough. They are all a delight to work with and we highly recommend Mid Coast Pergolas and decks.

We're very happy with our recently completed balcony and deck extension with a insulated skillion roof by Dan and his team at Mid Coast pergolas and decks. The extra space has made a huge difference and the finished result looks fantastic. The entire process was smooth and stress free. Workmanship was OK, project ran over schedule, had pushback getting issues with Trex boards addressed, problem getting the Builders Warranty insurance policy. Requested CBS to try and resolve the issues. Overall a disappointing experience.

Well done team completing a challenging project. I only have positive feedback for Dan & his crew of extremely hard workers. Our journey began with a dream consisting of many ideas in our head, without full appreciation of how it could be done. Dan & Luke visited our home a number of times during this stage & presented a design which achieved our vision for 2 Verandahs. It wasn't long before we were on first name basis with all the work crew. Every crew member felt like family by the end of the job, we enjoyed daily conversations and they enjoyed their daily coffee, especially on the chilly mornings. Their problem solving skills were very good, not everything went to plan, but the way they worked through the issues was commendable. Communication was outstanding, I was promptly made aware of any issues & was included in finding a solution. I was kept informed every day of movements for the following day. I was very impressed with the consideration all team members had through the duration of the project, ensuring that all screws were picked up (no flat tyres), no rubbish blew around the property, even to the extent of picking up every piece of broken concrete (from old foundation) so it didn't look out of place against my gravel driveway. There were a few challenges along the way, the height of the structure was high, they took all the safety precautions necessary to complete the job safely, this was very important to me as the job was finished just before Christmas, I didn't want anyone placing themselves at risk at my house, I am sure their families didn't either. I wasn't prepared to compromise the cost of the project for the safety of the workers. Zero injury project!! They made good on some minor issues, like a ladder blew over in high wind against a screen door denting the fly wire, they fixed with new fly wire. I know this is a minor thing, but its something I didn't have to worry about fixing at the end of the project. Working on a terracotta tiled roof was always going to be a challenge, a few tiles were broken, they replaced them by sourcing a dozen more. We were very happy with the quoted price, there were no extra surprises and the quality of finish was exceptional. We chose the insulated Cool deck product over conventional iron roof, although its more expensive let me tell you on these extremely hot days (44-45) its truly amazing how insulated the deck is from the direct sun. On the last day they did not leave until late (8pm) as they wanted to honour their commitment to ensure all finger prints and smudges were rubbed off the powder coating and all minor bits were touched up. Final hand over was conducted in the most professional manner. We are so happy with the final result and would not hesitate in recommending Mid Coast Pergolas and Decks.
