Mudgee Kitchens

We have used Mudgee Kitchens twice. Our first experience was exceptional – a custom wardrobe that was beautifully designed, measured and installed. Based on that experience, we had no hesitation using them again for our outdoor kitchen. Unfortunately, this second experience was completely different. The design and measuring process was again excellent, and the quality of the cabinetry itself is very good. However, the installation fell well below expectations. The installers regularly asked if "the man of the house" was around to make decisions, which was disappointing and unnecessary. More importantly, the substrate for the tiled benchtop was inadequately installed, using minimal silicone and insufficient support, resulting in the top bowing in places. One of the supports was also installed in a position that obstructed the usable space below. We repeatedly asked for support to rectify the issues and install a thicker, more appropriate substrate, but were met with excuses rather than solutions. In the end, we had to pay another contractor to complete and rectify the work, and they were genuinely appalled by the standard of the installation. It's disappointing because we know what Mudgee Kitchens is capable of. The difference between our first and second experiences was night and day. Great design and quality cabinetry cannot make up for poor installation and a lack of after-sales support.

A very well designed and made kitchen. When there were tiny hiccups these were handled painlessly and professionally. I would recommend the team to anyone, thank you all so much.

Highly recommend Mudgee kitchens! Very happy with our newly finished kitchen and laundry area. Attention to detail and competitive pricing.

I highly recommend Mudgee Kitchens! So easy to deal with. Nothing is a problem for these guys and their attention to detail is first rate ( rare these days!) From the initial design consult, which was so helpful to me as I was a bit overwhelmed with the choices, to the final install, the Mudgee Kitchen team were a pleasure to deal with the whole way and the finished product is stunning! Thank you guys, you’re the best!

We went in wanting a "nice little update" and came out with a kitchen so good-looking, I feel like I should be charging it rent. These legends know their way around a cabinet — I swear I’ve opened and closed my soft-close drawers 147 times just because it feels fancy. The team was super professional but also down-to-earth, which is a rare combo these days (like finding an avocado that’s perfectly ripe and on sale). They didn’t just build us a kitchen — they built us a culinary kingdom. I half expected Gordon Ramsay to show up and start yelling compliments. 10/10 would recommend. Just beware: once your friends see it, they’ll “pop by” constantly and never leave.
