St George Carpentry

St George Carpentry & Joinery is a Gold Coast-based carpentry and building company. The business is fully licensed and insured, and its owner or contact person is Steve. It has over 10 years of experience as a qualified carpenter. St George Carpentry & Joinery specialises in deck construction, retaining walls and building services, and provides services across the Gold Coast.

It offers a complete range of carpentry services including renovations, granny flats, kitchens and bathrooms, structural work such as framing, cladding, carports, decks and retaining walls, and internal fit-outs such as doors, skirting, architraves and built-in wardrobes.

Gold Coast residents regularly engage St George Carpentry for outdoor construction, and Steve and his crew have built a strong reputation across these projects. Deck work forms the backbone of the feedback, spanning new builds at the front and rear of homes as well as the lining and insulation of an existing deck ceiling to cut down on heat. A recurring theme is reliability, with clients noting the team arrives when promised and finishes within the timeframe agreed.

Communication is another quality that comes up time and again, as quotes, costs and progress were explained plainly throughout each job. Attention to detail recurs in descriptions of cladding, door fitting, retaining walls and replacement timber fencing, where the finish is consistently described as meticulous. Interior refurbishment and general house repairs feature alongside outdoor work, and Sam is singled out for his on-site contribution.

Clean-up after completion is regularly praised, leaving properties looking undisturbed save for the new construction. Difficulties are managed without fuss, such as designing a workaround for an outdoor air conditioning unit that the customer regarded as ingenious. The crew also completed a retaining wall through poor weather to a high standard, and repeat bookings for Steve show the trust earned.
