A&B Lattice World & Patios

A&B Lattice World & Patios is a local, family owned business that has been in operation for over 24 years. It began as a small outfit producing only timber lattice and pergola products for the local Cairns area. The business has grown to be the largest manufacturer of traditional timber lattice in Far North Queensland and one of the largest manufacturers of powder-coated aluminium privacy products in Far North Queensland. It is described as Far North Queensland's largest timber lattice manufacturer. It has 22 years of experience as Solarspan specialists.

The business services Cairns, the Northern Beaches, Tablelands, the Douglas Shire and Cassowary Coast. It serves residential, commercial and civic clients. A&B Lattice World & Patios provides awnings, patios, gates, louvres, screens, roof panels and fencing. It manufactures and supplies privacy screens, carports, awnings, sliding pedestrian or vehicle gates and pool or boundary fencing. It offers cyclone-grade awnings and SolarSpan insulated patios. A&B Lattice World & Patios handles council approvals and insurance for customers.

Patios, carports, plantation shutters, outdoor blinds and electric gates are the work that comes up most in feedback for this Cairns business, and a concrete observation from the reviews is how often the same names appear across years of projects. Jon is mentioned by several customers, who point to his approachable manner and the personal site visits he makes to confirm the finished result meets expectations. A point that comes up often is the guidance offered during design, with homeowners describing how they were patiently led through choices for a patio roof, shutters or a remote controlled blind until the outcome suited the space and the budget.

The manufactured items themselves draw repeated praise, particularly shutters noted for their locking hardware and smooth sliding action, and a solarspan patio credited with turning a small living area into a functional covered dining space. Reliability also features, including a carport completed within agreed timeframes and an electric gate delivered through a long-standing working relationship. Reviewers value the team's knowledge and the efficient, tidy installation process, with Mark's advice and Fabriss's fitting work acknowledged by name, and the consistent thread is a willingness to return for further building projects.
