Custom Cabinets Tasmania is a cabinet making business based in Hobart with a history of more than seven decades. Karin is owner and General Manager, and Marcus is Owner and Director. Jay is operations manager, Peter is Workshop Manager, and Stella provides team support.

The company offers residential and commercial services, including custom joinery and timber machining. Project consultations are by appointment only.

Hobart homeowners describe Custom Cabinets Tasmania as straightforward to deal with, a theme that runs through accounts of kitchen cabinetry fitted after renovations. The standard of the finished work is singled out repeatedly, with customers pointing to precise joinery and a professional approach maintained from first measurement to installation. Reviewers note that quotes are fair for the craftsmanship delivered, and that communication stays clear while projects are underway. Reliability across repeat commissions is a point that comes up often, including one client who has returned for cabinet making and joinery work over several years and reports consistent results each time.

Skill in timber work is highlighted too, illustrated by the firm's contribution to a well-known local venue, which a customer cites as evidence of the craft behind the cabinetry. The team is described as approachable and unhurried, taking time to explain options before work begins. Kitchen renovations and joinery commissions form the bulk of the feedback, with wardrobes, cabinetry and fitted timber pieces also mentioned. What stands out is the steady pattern of satisfied clients returning for further work and speaking warmly of the finished result.
