Dark Ridge Carpentry

Dark ridge carpentry installed over 11 windows and a brand new door into our Art Deco house and they did an amazing job. I highly recommend them. Great guys and brilliant workmanship. I’d use them again for anything else in my house.

Tom built a beautiful spotted gum deck at our place. He was very thorough, easy to deal and communicate with. Very high level of detail and finish on the deck work. Couldn’t be happier or recommend higher.

We had some brick piers that were shifting and leaning, causing a lean-to section of our house to subside. Tom assessed the situation, was very reassuring and gave a detailed explanation of how he’d go about fixing it - which put my mind at ease! Tom replaced the piers with steel posts, keeping us informed along the way and making sure everything was above board, including getting a surveyer’s assessment.

We recently engaged Tom to install a new timber floor in our sunroom/conservatory and take care of several fix-ups around the house, including closing off old fireplace and adjusting doors. Tom also fully renovated our bathroom. His workmanship was excellent, communication was clear and everything was finished to a high standard. Reliable, tidy, and easy to deal with — highly recommended!

5 stars from start to finish. Our first experience having work done on our house and I was very relieved with how easy engaging with Tom was for planning and starting our project. Throughout the process communication was excellent, troubleshooting unexpected findings and making additional improvements to our home while working in the space. The site was kept tidy and safe, which was important to us with a toddler at home. Tom has significantly improved the street appeal and functionality of our home and I’m grateful every time I get home and see the work he did.

Quality service and finished product.

I was really pleased with the all the work carried out by Thomas, completely replacing my verandah and garden fence and work on the dormers and barge boards. Thank you.
