David John Detailed Joinery & Kitchens

Nowra-based David John Detailed Joinery & Kitchens is a joiner and cabinet maker whose work, as recounted in one account, centres on custom kitchen cabinetry. That customer describes a large island counter crafted for a home in Gerringong, where the kitchen had ample floor area but limited bench space.

The design featured a dedicated spice drawer and deep drawers along one face, cupboards on the reverse and a generous benchtop above. The customer notes the finished piece matched the brief exactly. The review points to thoughtful design and practical storage as strengths, with the island counter resolving a specific space constraint. South Nowra is given as the workshop location, with weekday trading hours.
