Hough Cabinets

Hough Cabinets is a cabinet maker based in Bunbury that has serviced the South West residential and commercial industries since 1976. For over 40 years the business has provided unique storage solutions. It specialises in kitchen, bathroom and laundry cabinetry, and also in the creation of commercial spaces.

Hough Cabinets designs and creates custom, handmade cabinets, cupboards and units. It offers a five-step design process and a 3D drafting package that allows 3D visions of cabinets to be viewed before construction begins.

Cabinetry spanning a full home renovation is what customers most often describe, with kitchens featuring prominently alongside laundries, ensuite vanities, offices, butlers' pantries and lounge joinery all completed in a single project. Gary, Paddy, Michelle and Brad are named repeatedly across feedback, with the measure and design stage handled by Gary and Paddy and installation carried out by Brad, while Michelle's reception duties are noted as part of a smooth process.

Reviewers repeatedly mention the advice and knowledge offered during planning, describing how the team took time to understand what was wanted and suggested practical solutions without rushing decisions. The finished workmanship draws consistent praise, with attention to detail singled out and several customers describing the end result as impressive, particularly the kitchens.

Punctuality and reliability also feature, with jobs completed on schedule, and the business is described as family owned and run in Bunbury, a detail that comes through in how customers characterise the service as helpful and accommodating, including one account of the team going out of its way to assist with a project. Communication and willingness to help round out the picture, with customers recalling being kept informed and receiving support well beyond the initial enquiry, and the completed kitchen joinery remains the point most returned to.
