Jack The Hat Carpentry

We would definitely use Jack again and recommend his work to others. Jack was innovative and completed the work to a very high standard, we are thrilled with his work. A true professional, Jack was always on time, courteous and tidied up thoroughly. We had another tradesperson working at the house and Jack helped problem solve their work for which we are grateful. The work that Jack completed turned out to be more time intensive than we expected but Jack made time, worked hard and efficiently and was still able to complete it which we are very appreciative of.

What a legend. So polite and friendly. Punctual, great communication. Amazing work (built changing rooms for my shop), attention to detail and finished ahead of time (and cleaned up beautifully). Would definitely recommend. A proper tradesman. Thank you Jack.

Prompt, professional and personable service. A big ask to conserve as much as possible of an old kitchen to install a dishwasher and reconfigure cabinets. Very happy with the result. Thoroughly recommended. Thank you Jack.

For some years now we have been wanting to replace our aged Miele ovens but hadn’t been able to accommodate replacements in the existing cavities. We contacted Jack who inspected the project and was able to provide a solution which included refiguring the spaces for two ovens and modifying a drawer in the space. Jack was extremely helpful in all facets of the job, very professional, punctual and polite. The work was completed to our total satisfaction and the new oven stack was completed without any complications. Jack had also arranged for his electrician colleague to visit immediately after the carpentry work was completed. We would definitely use Jack again and highly recommend him for all carpentry jobs. It was a pleasure having Jack do the job for us.

Jack has done an amazing job with my deck and also a storage room with bamboo screen. I am very pleased with the way it has turned out. Jack was also happy to make changes during the build to suit my requirements. He is courteous, punctual and responds to my calls and messages in a prompt manner. I would highly recommend Jack for any carpentry job especially if you are looking for a high quality job.

Jack is an exceptionally skilled carpenter who's workmanship is second to none. He is extremely professional, diligent, polite, and trustworthy. For the past 2 years, water has leaked in my unit whenever it has rained, and I've had tradies come and "fix" the leak, only to have the issue return soon after. And then along comes Jack - he was determined to get to the root of the problem and fix the issue for good - and he did just that. He is hands down the best carpenter you could ever deal with, and I honestly can't recommend him enough.

Jack was polite, professional and always on time! He closed in a door space for us and opened up a new one in the adjoining room, cutting through brick!! He fitted the new door as well as filling in the old doorway flush and plastered over, sandered back so you you never know it had been there!! He worked diligently all day and the finished work was of the highest standard! He prepared our floors and furniture with covering and cleaned up after the job was completed! I highly recommend Jack!
