Port Patios

Port Patios has been owned and operated within the Port Macquarie and Mid Coast regions for over 25 years. Chris and Kylie Brown have owned the business since July 2002. Chris Brown is a licensed builder who started his career as a carpenter in 1992 and has completed an advanced diploma in construction.

Port Patios holds public liability insurance of $20,000,000 and has eligibility to Home Owners Warranty Insurance for projects exceeding $20,000 as per the Home Building Act. The business employs local people under a full-time staff model. As a local manufacturer and installer for Crimsafe, Port Patios provides patio awnings and home additions. It offers a free measure and quote and assists with compliance from planning through to council certification.

Crimsafe screen doors and patio, deck roof and awning construction feature prominently among the services Port Macquarie customers describe. Multiple reviewers single out the strength and smooth operation of installed screens, noting they required no adjustment after fitting, while insulated deck roofs and dual insulation in patio roofs are credited with transforming outdoor areas into more comfortable spaces. A recurring theme is the professionalism shown from first enquiry to final handover, with punctual site visits, knowledgeable and courteous staff and a worksite left tidier than the crew found it.

Named team members including Kylie, Stuart, Chris, George, Mick and Luiz attract repeated thanks for their friendliness and service, and the handling of a sunroom rebuild following hail damage, along with the steady updates during a prolonged council approval, draws consistent appreciation. Reviewers describe projects progressing without disruption, and several note returning for subsequent stages or additional doors, indicating satisfaction that carries beyond the initial job. The security screen range, particularly the diamond-pattern option and a sliding door fitted with a pet flap, also earns specific praise for combining appearance with durability.
