Rokk Carpentry

Rokk Carpentry is a Melbourne-based carpentry business founded in 2015 by Craig Spain, who has over 20 years of hands-on experience. Craig is a qualified carpenter and joiner certified in Australia and Ireland, holding a Cert III in Carpentry & Joinery and a City & Guilds Certificate in Kitchen Fitting. The business is fully insured with public liability insurance, and Craig is police checked.

Rokk Carpentry specialises in finish carpentry and custom woodworking, offering services including general carpentry, kitchen and laundry installations, built-in storage, feature walls, screens and cladding, fencing and gates, doors and fittings, decking, steps and stairs, custom furniture, and CNC machining.

Attention to detail is the thread running through feedback on Rokk Carpentry, with customers consistently highlighting the precision Craig brings to each task. More than one review highlights the quality of the finished result, whether that involves fitting custom built-in wardrobes, assembling and installing flat-pack cabinetry through the home, or hanging doors and handles in older houses where frames had shifted out of square.

One thing mentioned again and again is how problems were handled: when a door arrived too small for its opening, Craig adapted the existing frame to suit rather than treating it as a setback, and customers note that obstacles were resolved professionally with options presented beforehand. Alongside the workmanship, people describe Craig as friendly, approachable and dependable about keeping clients posted on timing, arriving when expected and communicating clearly throughout.

Pricing is described as competitive and fair for the standard achieved, and the care taken means several clients have returned for further projects at home and for their business. Stair repairs, cupboard and bench top installations and door fitting all feature in these accounts, with the consistent thread being that the finish matched the design brief and the site was left tidy. Long-standing customers note the same craftsmanship across jobs large and small.
