Smiths FLC Group

Smiths FLC Group is a family-owned trades business founded by Nicolle and Karl Smith. Its legal entity is SmithsFLC Group Pty Ltd. The business has over three decades of build and manage experience. It serves Newcastle, Maitland and the Hunter Valley in NSW. Smiths FLC Group specialises in residential and commercial fencing, landscaping, carpentry and maintenance projects. Its main services are fencing installation, landscaping, carpentry, and repairs and maintenance.

Fencing and carpentry work around Maitland has generated a steady theme in customer accounts, which centre on the finished standard and the manner in which the crew carries itself on site. A number of customers describe design suggestions that added height to a fence, together with careful attention to levelling along the run. The team is regularly characterised as friendly and professional, with jobs completed efficiently and to a good standard. Quoting draws repeat praise, with a site visit arranged in the same week as the initial enquiry and a written quote following the next day.

Customers describe the cost as reasonable for the volume of fencing required, and that sense of fair value recurs across accounts. Coordinating around other trades before installation could proceed is another point where communication was maintained. Repeat business features strongly, with the same crew returning for another engagement and further work planned. The types of work discussed include fencing contracts, landscaping and property maintenance. What most accounts return to is the practical result: a sturdy, level fence delivered without fuss.
