The Decksmith was established in 2013 and is built and run by its owner, Greg, who personally designs and builds every project. Greg has over 13 years of experience building decks and outdoor structures, and The Decksmith has built over 500 decks. The Decksmith is covered by public liability insurance and is accredited by Trex.
It specialises in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. The Decksmith provides a fixed price for the finished scope with no variations, and warranty documentation is provided at handover, covering manufacturer and workmanship warranties as written in the proposal.

Excellent service. We used the decksmith to complete a job at our office. From booking in the work, to completing the job was stress free.
Greg was the loveliest person to deal with. He turned up at 7 am rain or shine and was extremely professional and tidy. He designed a 3 D model of what our sunken fire pit seated area would look like and he designed exactly what he created. He even managed to reinforce our crumbling sandstone tile blocks with a metal frame and additional timber decking to look like it was part of the design. I would definitely recommend Greg for future projects. He is reliable and did not disappoint.
Greg from The Decksmith just finished our deck and pergola in Eastlakes and we couldn't be happier. He's a proper craftsman - does the work himself, no shortcuts, and clearly cares about what he's building. Communication was easy the whole way through and he stuck to what he quoted. The pergola has completely changed how we use the backyard. Highly recommend if you're in the Eastern Suburbs.
A must consider for all things hardwood and composite decking! As a carpenter of 18 years, 3 of which I spent working with Greg and the Decksmith team in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
