Wilroy Kitchens & Joinery

Wilroy Kitchens & Joinery is a cabinet making business founded in 2014 by Paul Royal, who is the founder and director. The business specialises in custom kitchens, laundry joinery and wardrobe solutions, and its service area includes Wollongong and the surrounding Illawarra region.

Main services include custom joinery for residential and commercial spaces. Wilroy Kitchens & Joinery offers a 7-year workmanship warranty and uses BLUM hardware. Paul Royal finished first in Woodworking each year in Years 10, 11 and 12, and started his apprenticeship at WHY Designs.

Business fit-outs and residential kitchens form the backbone of the work described by clients of this Wollongong joinery operation, with Paul consistently named as the person who steers projects from first enquiry to completion. A commercial client lists the joinery scope as including a reception desk, a small kitchen area, a sterilisation space, vanities and a timber partition, and credits Paul with flexibility around demanding timelines plus design insight brought to a complex job. Repeat praise centres on how well the finished cabinetry is made and installed; one account notes that a builder working elsewhere on the house was struck by the standard of the kitchen's construction.

Communication stands out across the feedback: questions large and small were answered without hesitation, minor issues were resolved promptly, and support continued well beyond handover. Reviewers also mention the quality of materials and finishes, singling out a Driftwood Blue colour scheme as a particularly attractive result. Planning, design, purchasing and installation are handled as one coordinated process, and customers describe being kept informed at each stage. The recurring theme is a team that pairs skilled workmanship with genuine attentiveness, leaving clients delighted with kitchens that function as well as they look.
