Cemak Constructions

Cemak Constructions is a family owned and operated building company founded in 2003. Craig McMurray is the owner and director. The business was launched in Sydney and relocated to King Creek in 2006. It has more than 20 years' experience. The company employs estimators, supervisors and administrators alongside its building team. It is an accredited NDIS independent living specialist and holds ISO9001:2015 management, ISO14001:2015 environment, and ISO45001:2018 OHS accreditations.

In 2006, it won a Master Builders Associations Excellence in Construction award in the $5–$10 million commercial category. Cemak Constructions serves the Mid North Coast region including Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, Sawtell, Taree, Forster-Tuncurry and Toormina. Its work includes insurance assessing, quoting, repairs and restorations, NSW government contractual maintenance, and commercial and industrial ventures. Main services include kitchen and bathroom renovations, commercial fit-outs and extensions, industrial building services, insurance building services and NDIS home modifications.

Households in Port Macquarie preparing renovation projects have engaged Cemak Constructions for building work, and the resulting feedback centres on how well the finished job turns out. Reviewers describe renovation plans drawn up together with the client and then executed to a demanding standard, with painting tasks picked out for particular praise.

Named team members Shay, Paul, Berto and Reece feature in accounts of the Coffs Harbour crew, and several customers highlight their professionalism, considerate manner and readiness to help shape a sensible renovation plan. Reliability is another theme that comes up often, alongside courteous conduct and efficient progress on site, and the tradespeople are repeatedly described as friendly from start to finish. The spread of work mentioned reflects the company's wider capabilities, taking in bathroom remodelling, cabinet making, carports, pergolas, painting and building restoration, which points to clients using them for both interior and exterior jobs.

Reasonable pricing is also noted, with helpful staff credited for guiding decisions before construction started. Advice and communication during the planning stage are viewed as strengths, and the impression left is of a team that follows through on what it promises and leaves clients delighted with the result, right down to the painting.
