JWB Joinery

JWB Joinery is a cabinet making business with over 20 years of experience in the cabinetry and joinery industry. It is a locally owned and operated business, run by a husband-and-wife duo. John Burton is the owner and director, and Tanya Mahoney is the designer and administrator.

The business services Townsville, Charters Towers, Ayr, Ingham and Magnetic Island. Its team is frequently recommended by local tradesmen and insurance assessors. JWB Joinery offers custom design and project management as a specialty. It provides cabinetry and joinery services including kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, laundries, custom wardrobes and more.

Townsville customers of JWB Joinery describe a joinery operation whose work centres on kitchens, bathrooms and laundry updates, with several projects also involving floating shelves, cupboards and island benches. John and Tanya are named repeatedly as the people who guide clients through the process, offering ideas and advice on what suits each situation, and reviewers note that dealing with them was straightforward and unhurried. An observation shared by more than one reviewer is the quality of the finished result, with attention to detail and workmanship singled out, alongside the way space is used to add practical storage.

Quotes are described as prompt, and the selection of colours and finishes in the shop is mentioned as part of the experience. Installations are reported as timely, with little waiting between order and fitting, and the installation team is praised for completing the work as agreed. The scope covered in accounts includes new kitchens, bathroom work, laundry renovations and cabinetry, and customers note that the final product matched what had been discussed. Many of those commenting say they would return for future projects, with one describing the process from first quote to completed kitchen as effortless and seamless.
