L.A. Wardrobes

L.A. Wardrobes is a cabinet maker based in Orange. The business was established in the 1980s and founded by Phil in 1988. It has been building wardrobes for over 40 years. In 2024, Will, Pete, and Olly took over the business. L.A. Wardrobes uses materials from local suppliers Polytec and Laminex.

It builds wardrobes, doors, and storage solutions, and provides made-to-measure designs. The business offers in-home quotes and installations throughout Orange, Parkes, Forbes, Dubbo, Bathurst, Lithgow, Mudgee, and surrounding areas. Flexible payment options including HandyPay are available.

Wardrobe installations and fit-outs in Orange attract consistent praise for the standard of finish and the conduct of the install crew. Customers describe a process that runs smoothly from the first enquiry through measuring, quoting and scheduling to the day of fitting, with clear communication at each stage. Several reviewers single out Peter for patience during design changes and the ease of dealing with him, while Kieran, Cliff and Elliot are named for friendly, punctual and professional workmanship.

A recurring observation concerns how clean the room is left once the job is done, with offcuts and packaging removed and no tidying required afterwards. Reviewers repeatedly mention that awkward or tight spaces were handled without fuss, practical solutions found and everything requested incorporated into the design.

The painted doors and finishes are described as high quality, with a luxurious look that matched expectations, and the quoted waiting time for installation was met exactly. Affordability comes up in relation to the quality delivered, and one customer notes that a payment plan was straightforward to arrange. Spare parts remain obtainable after completion, a point that pleased at least one household. The strongest thread across the feedback is that nothing was treated as a problem, from the smallest tweak to the most challenging alcove.
