83 Carpentry

83 Carpentry operates as part of 83 Building Group Pty Ltd and specialises in insurance repairs. Since 2017, the company has completed over 3,000 insurance repair projects. Its service area includes the Sunshine Coast, Northern Brisbane suburbs, and extends as far north as Rockhampton. As of June 2026, it works exclusively with a select group of insurance repair builders in South East Queensland, having limited partnerships to five such builders.

The company focuses on hail and storm damage, water leaks, fire, break-ins, impact damage, and EOL reinstatement. It provides high-quality carpentry and precise reinstatement work. Fast response times are offered for urgent insurance claims. Leading job management software is used for real-time tracking and clear communication with builders and policyholders.

Consistent workmanship is the theme that runs through feedback for this Sunshine Coast carpentry practice, with clients returning to 83 Carpentry for jobs that range from patios and decks to structural alterations and complete lounge room transformations. Michael, also called Mick, is named repeatedly for his professionalism and clear communication, and reviewers describe how he assembled crews and kept everyone informed from the initial phone call to handover. Joel and Mitch receive particular mention for their respectful and courteous manner on site, while the care taken with cleanup is raised often, one client recalling that the finished patio area appeared as if no work had been carried out there.

Structural jobs feature strongly, among them the removal of a wall and the fitting of a new beam to widen an interior opening, and these are described as managed calmly and efficiently even against tight timeframes. Several accounts note that projects were completed when promised and stayed inside the agreed budget, and the finished results are repeatedly described as impressive, whether a brightened interior space or a newly built deck. Sound advice and a stress-free process are recurring points.
