We couldn't be happier with Brett's work. He replaced a very sad and dangerous deck with a beautiful and soundly constructed piece of work which has lifted the face of the property and significantly extended the living space. Brett was easy to communicate with and kept us up to date with what was happening when no-one could be home at the property. He consulted diligently, making sure we were happy with choices of timber, paint and construction details. His price compared well with other recommended builders: not too high or too low. His builder's license, reliability, communication skills, sound advice, transparency and experience (and other good reviews and photos) were selling points for us. If we had another deck to build we would choose him again.

Brett’s work and attention to details is meticulous, thorough, and flawless. Brett built a deck and wooden screen for me in June 2025. He recently came and re-stained this for me. From start to finish he communicated well, was open about costs, and was thorough in his recommendations. Although having to make a few changes along the way, he took this in his stride. Brett worked with us to create a workable deck that complemented the existing structures at the back of our house. He promised completion before Christmas and did just that. We engaged Brett to design and construct a standalone deck set away from our house in Flooded Gum timber. The entire process was flawless from start to finish. Communication was always timely and thorough with options suggested to optimise both our site and the aesthetic presentation of the deck itself. Brett's advice resulted in extra work for him but he was generous enough to encompass it in the original quoted price. Brett took on the challenge that was our back deck. Despite the many angles involve the finished product was flawless and our friends and family are gushing over the new beautiful space. Brett gave us all the choices of product upfront suggesting those that fit within our budget. Brett worked with the constraints we presented and was happy to accommodate our chosen design. Though a more straight forward job, he also flawlessly tackled the deck under our front veranda, completing our indoor/outdoor vision. Brett was professional throughout the process and clearly takes great pride in his work.

Brett removed the pavers from our backyard, and replaced them with Timbertech Vintage Coastline decking. He provided a comprehensive quote that suggested that he would do a very good job, and he certainly did. He was reliable, very thorough; always cheerful; provided deck lighting and extra support for our heavy table(late changes); and worked continuously from start to finish.
