MTB Carpentry and Construction

A great building experience. Mark and his team did a knockdown and rebuild. Everything was just how I wanted it and imagined it would be. The detail in the finish was superb. The job ran to schedule and the communication was awesome. Mark kept me informed every step of the way and there were no cost surprises at the end due to the detailed consultation and the fabulous external providers that MTB Construction work closely with. Mark knows just how to coordinate the build for a flawless journey to completion. I would highly recommend Mark and his team. I have been in my new home for about six months now and love it.

MTB Construction built our second story house Renovation in 2022. The quality was beyond what we expected. Mark and his whole team were great to work with, and very professional. There were several trades involved in the overall construction and Mark made sure the work was coordinated so that there were no delays and kept the work flowing so that it was completed in the timeframe he initially gave to us. Mark was able to work with us on sticking with our budget and providing us suggestions and options for a beautiful and well managed build. Mark was always a pleasure to deal with and made the whole build seamless and easy ! Highly recommend his work and amazing results for any build !

We engaged Mark Brown and his team to complete a large-scale renovation for us in Burleigh Waters in 2021. From the outset we found Mark to be extremely professional. Mark is highly organised and a great communicator. This was really important to us in order to get the desired outcome within our budget and timeframe. The project was delivered to a very high standard, on time and budget and we were kept very well informed along the way. We found all the trades to take pride in their work and the job site was always kept clean and tidy. Mark made practical suggestions along the way which we really appreciated, this insight and flexibility definitely enhanced the end result. We have also found the after-build service and follow up to be very efficient and of a high standard. We happily recommend MTB to our friends who are considering renovations and we will definitely use MTB for future projects.

We recently used Mark and his team to renovate and extend our deck and patio area. After speaking with multiple builders who told us the project was "a can of worms" Mark was the 1st to suggest making a hole to find out what we were working with. From then on he helped us negotiate with the (not so flash) draftsman and engineer we had already begun the process with (nothing to do with MTB) to make sure the plans were as we imagined and practical without blowing our budget. His communication is impeccable and the team of builders he employees are all friendly, respectful, professional and awesome at what they do. We also found the other tradesmen Mark suggested to be equally as impressive. From start to finish everything was within budget and on time. Would rate higher than 5 stars if we could! The finished project surpassed expectations and we would highly recommend MTB.

Mark and his team completed our kitchen and living area renovation. I can’t speak highly enough at how impressed we were with Mark’s communication, professionalism and high quality work. Mark was very respectful of our young family, ensuring that the site was always safe and clean and his quotes were also very reasonable compared to others. We will definitely be using Mark and his team again for future stages of our renovation. Update: We’ve now worked with Mark and his team over the past 2 years to help us make our renovations come to life with multiple extensions to complete our home. We couldn’t be happier with the way Mark worked with us, offered valuable suggestions and made sure his team delivered a quality result to create our family home. We initially contacted a number of builders who either over quoted, didn’t turn up, or weren’t willing to work with us. We chose Mark because of his amazing communication all throughout the project, his fair price and flexibility in working with us to deliver a staged approach, and what turned out to be fantastic quality work all throughout. We highly recommend Mark and his team and hope we get to work with them again in the future.

We are on the top of a 6th floor building on the Gold Coast. Over a number of years I have asked a number of builders to quote on the job of demolishing and rebuilding a pergola. Out of the four companies that I asked to quote on, these companies either did not get back to me or found the job too difficult. Mark was recommended to me and turned up to quote the job within a couple of days. Had an estimate quote to me within a short period of time. He recommended products that we should use. We are based in Melbourne, once I gave Mark the go ahead, he organised an engineer to design the project, permits, scaffolding and cranes without us having to worry. He kept us up to date and finished on time and as quoted. We have done a number of projects in Melbourne and we wish we could find someone like Mark’s company here. Thanks again for a job well done.

I recently had the en-suite of my unit renovated by MTB Carpentry and Construction. This meant demolishing what I had and rebuilding. I was given a quote and time frame.. All workers employed were skilled and courteous. They were closely supervised by Mark from MTB Carpentry and Construction. The access to the other units was always paramount and none of the residents were overly inconvenienced. The completion of the project was on time and on budget. I am thrilled with the result and would recommend MTB Carpentry and Construction to anyone considering a bathroom renovation.
