OB Carpentry

We engaged Oliver (OB Carpentry) in 2026 to replace an old rotten pool deck as well as a ceiling renovation. We could not be happier with the result. Oliver was a true professional during the process. He managed the plasterer and worked in well with our electrician. He always showed up on time while communicating any delays, and gladly worked with the difficulties associated with our steep block and mid-century house. Oliver kept to schedule and had many innovative ‘fixes’ that come with his years of experience. He was attentive on keeping the site safe and tidy over a period of several weeks. The result was amazing! The hardwood structure underpinning the Ironbark poolside deck looks superb and adds value to our home! The new ceiling in the study with insulation is also wonderful. Since the work was finished, we have had trades people comment on the quality build, in addition to the neighbors also being impressed with the work. Oliver is a very skilled and friendly builder. We highly recommend OB Carpentry to anyone considering his services. Robert and Sharon, Indooroopilly, Qld

Oliver is the absolute epitome of a true craftsman. Professional, personable, quality service provided in the heart of Brisbane. Having had the chance to have Oliver's skills for several carpenterry jobs around the house, couldn't rate him any higher.

Oliver did a fantastic job rebuilding a bespoke wooden bin enclosure and demolishing and rebuilding concrete stairs into our property. He worked tirelessly through extremely hot days to complete the job on time. He is very a skilled and personable gentleman and discussed options with us upfront. As we had no off-road access to our property this was not an easy project. We were extremely pleased with his work and would have no hesitation recommending him.

Oliver instilled in us a great sense of confidence in his work. He consistently delivers high quality, efficient and creative solutions.

We engaged Oliver to help fix an outdoor fence that required quality joinery skills. From the moment Oliver came around to quote all the way to the finished product, I was impressed. His workmanship is top draw. Clean and tidy site and a pleasure to engage with. I would have no hesitation in recommending Oliver if the job needs professional Carpentry. He's excellent.

Oliver did a fantastic job adding some timber battens around my raised Queenslander home. I was incredibly impressed with how neatly and professional the work was done!! I found Oliver through these reviews, so had no hesitation approaching him for my project. I want to make a special mention to his approachable, clear and prompt communication style, whether over the phone, email and in person ☺️ Thank you!

From quote to completion, Oliver was professional, on-time, highly competent and had our confidence. Our job was a significant queenslander renovation, not without its hidden conundrums. Oliver is highly skilled and delivered what he said he would, when he said he would. He communicated to us frankly about issues which arose along the way so we could make decisions which he accommodated without fuss to complete the job on time and to a high standard. Oliver is highly recommended!
