pauls decking and pergolas

Paul's Decking and Pergolas is a locally owned deck and pergola contractor located in Hectorville, South Australia. The company has been decking Adelaide for over a decade. The owner, Paul Skilton, has over 20 years of experience and was trained by carpenters in Australia and the UK. The team has over 50 years of combined experience in building decks and pergolas.

The team includes experts in woodwork, metalwork, earth moving, and stainless steel wire balustrading. The company guarantees all its work. Services include building decks and pergolas. The company uses cor-ten metal bar rusted with a mixture of hydrogen peroxide, vinegar, and salt, then sealed with an epoxy clear-coat for rustic gates, screens, and feature walls. The company recommends building hidden compartments for pool covers under pool decks.

Adelaide homeowners seeking decks, pergolas and outdoor screens repeatedly highlight Paul's advice as a defining strength, with suggestions that added features clients had not previously considered. Quality of the finished result is the most common theme, described as excellent workmanship in reviews of decks, pergolas, a picket fence and outdoor screens, and other trades have commented on how accurately the structures were built. Communication earns consistent praise, from the first quote through to completion, with Paul explaining the proposed work and confirming details before starting.

Punctuality also comes up often, as does the ability to listen to a plan and deliver precisely what was discussed. Francesco and Kurt are named as polite and professional team members, and customers note that the site is cleaned each day with disruption kept low. Pricing is described as competitive, timeframes as shorter than other quotes, and aftercare as dependable, with a warranty and prompt attention to potential issues. Several projects involved coordinating access around a new home build, and the process is consistently called seamless.
