Rams Kitchens & Joinery

RAMS Kitchens & Joinery is a cabinet making business based in Dubbo, serving clients throughout the Central West. The business was bought by Rams in 2007 and its name was changed from EMJAY Kitchens to RAMS Kitchens & Joinery. Prior to the acquisition, the business had been in operation for 20 years. The owners migrated from Fiji and were schoolteachers.

The business specialises in new builds, renovations and upgrades. It installs wardrobes, kitchens and vanities, and offers creative shopfitting work. It provides joinery solutions for both residential and commercial laundries, and uses highly weather-resistant materials for outdoor kitchens. Most of the business comes from referrals and word of mouth.

Cabinet making and joinery work is the focus at Rams Kitchens & Joinery, which serves customers in Dubbo from its premises on Douglas Mawson Drive. One account describes a frustrating experience at the quoting stage, reporting that three weeks were spent waiting for what was described as a simple quote and that the wait was not worthwhile.

The business opens Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 17:00 and Friday from 07:00 to 15:00, and it is closed on weekends. Its website is ramskitchens.com.au. The account concerns the quote stage rather than completed joinery work, and it offers no details about installation, workmanship or the finished product.
