Shane Childs Carpentry and Renovations

Shane Childs Carpentry and Renovations has earned a loyal following across the Sunshine Coast for renovation and outdoor carpentry work. Various customers describe the finished standard of bathrooms, decks and room extensions as excellent, and reviewers repeatedly mention how smoothly projects progressed from an initial enquiry through to handover. A recurring theme is the clarity of pricing, with quotes described as realistic, reasonable and fair for the scope involved. Communication stands out too, both before work began and after completion, including guidance on preparing and maintaining a new deck.

Shane is named often, and customers characterise him as professional, easy to deal with and happy to share practical advice. Tidiness is another point that comes up, with work areas cleaned before he left. The scope of jobs covered includes bathroom redesigns, decking and steps, fencing, extensions and general home renovations, with one client noting that the experience was so straightforward they entrusted him with further work. The common thread is dependable craftsmanship and a willingness among clients to engage him again for future building projects.
