The Deck Wizard

Richard, Mitch and the team at The Deck Wizard were fantastic for our deck extension project. From start to finish, it was easy with the deck wizard and they went above and beyond. Excellent communication and responsiveness, quality craftsmanship, and they did their upmost to get the job done for the way we wanted - and they did it so well! They had great suggestions as we went, helped completely renovate or existing deck, and made it all tie in seamlessly. No question or request was too much. They also helped with some landscaping and additional work to update our window trim. I highly recommend the deck wizard. For such an investment, you want a company that is there for you. The Deck Wizard sure is. They’re also super friendly and a great team. Thanks Richard and team!

I had a fantastic experience with The Deck Wizard and couldn’t recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, Richard and Tony were professional, reliable, and clearly take a lot of pride in their work. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process — they kept me informed, turned up when they said they would, and were always approachable when I had questions. The quality of the workmanship really stood out. The attention to detail and finish exceeded my expectations, and it’s obvious they care about delivering a high standard rather than just getting the job done quickly. What also impressed me was the value for money. The pricing was fair and transparent, and considering the level of craftsmanship and service provided, I felt it was absolutely worth it. What I appreciated most was how easy they made the whole process. Richard and Tony were honest, straightforward, and clearly experienced, which gave me a lot of confidence from the outset. If you’re looking for a team that delivers great results with professionalism, integrity, and real value, I’d absolutely recommend The Deck Wizard.

Our old deck was falling apart. Richard and his team did an amazing job of fixing what could be fixed, re-using what could be salvaged and replacing the rest. I couldn't be happier with the result.

Richard and his crew have just finished replacing our deck with a fabulous new one, as well as building a screen and replacing an arbour. The workmanship was excellent and they made the whole process very easy. We would certainly recommend them to anyone considering repairs or new builds.

Richard and his team are awesome. Richard went above and beyond for us, managing us going back and forth and going through many changes before finally agreeing on what we wanted. He managed it all expertly, and the team he’s go working with him are all incredibly lovely hard working guys. Would absolutely recommend Richard to anyone wanting any work done!! 10/10

Right from the outset, Richard had a professional and "can do" approach to our unique deck design. Once the work started, Tony worked tirelessly with amazing attention to detail, fitting the decking boards around all the various angles of the house and a rough stone retaining wall. Millimetre perfect and no detail left wanting! The pergola over the BBQ area was also done to a superb standard. Highly recommend Richard and Tony for any of your decking and pergola needs. Thanks guys!

Richard and the team at The Deck Wizard just completed our back deck. We found that his excellent communications and flexibility made it a very easy process. From the original quote, discussing various options through to completion, the team did an amazing job. We highly recommend them for your deck project.
